It's not a secret that Madi loves animals so it was no surprise when she freaked out over my brother's new kittys. It was the first time she has seen them and she went nuts! She picked them up and followed them around. She crawled under patio furniture, looked under things and even peeked in their house to find them when they were able to wiggle loose. Madi was totally mauling the poor things and I was shocked that they didn't scratch her.
I talked to her and she backed off for a minute but that was about all before scooping up Sariah and heading off to look for Aslan.
She really wanted them both. She wasn't satisfied with just one. So she would carry (drag) the one while she looked for the other. This is Aslan.
She finally got them both. She was holding on as tight as she could, determined not to let them go. It was so funny to watch her. She was seriously elated!
"I wub him"
We went in for dinner and then headed out for smores by the fire. Madi made sure she got to hold the kittens. She was so content sitting there. I kept asking her if she was cold or tired and she would say "no, I not" and snuggle the kittys tighter.

She would get her nose in Aslan's fur and that would wake her up a little. She would rub her nose and then droop down again to the fur. It was so cute to watch her with them. It almost made me want to get her a cat. She is totally in love with Sariah and Aslan and is ready to see them again.
