Black Island Farms...

Last year we decided to make BIF part of our annual Halloween festivities.  We went on Oct. 15th and it was a perfect day!  The weather was beautiful!  While Derrick was getting our tickets I took some pics of the kids with the pumpkins.  I love this one of Easton!  Such a sweet smile.
Madi didn't want to smile and when I put Easton up there she just kept getting mad because "He gettin you".  I think it is funny though because Easton is holding on and has this big grin and thinks he is so good and Madi is trying to get away!  I guess he is starting to get her back for being mean to him.
I can't get enough of Easton's big, blue eyes and chubby cheeks!
Madi loved seeing the animals and playing on the swings.
Her FAVORITE part was the slides.  She went on them at least fifty times.  She would slide down and then go right back up.  We had to pick her up and carry her to the next spot.
She tried the bigger slide with Derrick and liked it but it is harder to get up so Derrick only helped her a couple times.
The highlight of the day was the grain chute slide.  We thought that since Madi was doing so well with the other slides she could go by herself and Derrick would slide with Easton while I took pictures, then we would switch so I could have a turn.  About a third of the way down Madi rolled over and hung on for dear life!  Derrick was trying to get her to let go and I was coaxing her from the bottom.
When we realized that it wasn't going to happen, daddy saved the day!  She got off the side and said "too small, too small.  Tiny slide."
We decided to move past the slides and Madi played with a few other things on the way to the train and corn box.
(Pretend this picture is the other way :D)  Easton wanted to eat the corn.  YUCK!  Derrick kept it out of his mouth while I buried him a little.  He kept wiggling out of it.  It was kind of funny.
Little miss Madi in the corn...
We watched the pig races and saw this on the way over to the bounce house.  Derrick and I had a pretty good laugh!
Madi LOVED the pumpkin bounce house and didn't want to come out.  Easton was just loving being outside.
Madi rode the train a couple times and loved it.  We let her go by herself this year.  She wanted the pink one.  Such a girl! :D
Easton went done a slide too.  I held his hand and walked along the slide.  He wasn't totally sure about it until we got to the end and then he was all smiles!
My boys...
We went through a couple corn mazes before heading over for a sunset hayride to get our pumpkins.  I told Madi to pick mine.  She walked about ten rows and saw a green one and that was it.  There was no changing her mind.  It was the perfect pumpkin!
She said over and over "It's heavy"
Derrick and Easton picked an all right one too.

We had a great night!  With a couple of perfect pumpkins we called it good and headed home to put these tired little ones in bed.  We decided next year to go earlier because five hours didn't seem to be enough.
